Electronic Shifter 96 Ford Windstar Van Having Tranny Issues?

96 ford windstar van having tranny issues? - electronic shifter

I have a 1996 Ford Windstar van transmission has problems. It has an automatic transmission. It also has 170K miles. I've never had a gearbox problem. Yesterday it started acting funny and would not be more than 2 to 3 In order to accelerate. So I couldnt drive over 30ish. We have exhausted all the fluid and put new tranny and changed the filter. It is the same. Today, my grandfather, unplugged all the sensors and Člen them and the electronics box and cleaned all the teeth in it. Then he did it well. I drove for about an hour without any problems. I killed when I got home. A few hours later I had to go into the shop and started to do the same. 3. No change. I'm in a store tomorrow, but I kno if anyone knows what this or could be anything. Thank you for your answers.

It seems that the claws are done right and mileage. It could also be a Solino. I had the same kind of things in my Tahoe and found shoe. If this is the case, needs to be rebuilt, they can also get cheap labor, a second-hand immobilizer. To do only with this question, I do not know what you get.

It could also be the torque converter or pump

They have confidence in his shop and gear
expect the best.

At this point it could go either way.

With a little luck to find a bad sensor ..

I wish you good luck ....
